The worst thing about being friends
Is when we have to part.
But though our time together ends
You’re always in my heart.
It’s hard when you are far away,
I really do miss you.
I miss the funny things you say,
And all the things you do.
I guess that when you are not near,
I realise how I care.
That makes our time together dear,
Whenever you are there.
Saying goodbye is always sad,
From crying I refrain,
‘Cause I remember times we’ve had,
The times we’ll have again.
