If you’re ever feeling lonely,
Or upset and don’t know why,
Remember that I’m here for you
Before you start to cry.

If you need someone to talk to
When no-one seems to care,
Remember that my offer’s true,
I will always be there.

Or if you find you need my help,
In any other way,
You know I’ll give it happily,
So if you do, just say.

But I’m a friend in good times too,
Not just when things are bad.
I will be there when you’re happy,
As well as when you’re sad.

And if you feel you need a break,
From all my love and care.
Just say the word and you’re alone,
For you I’ll still be there.

I guess that what I’m saying here,
Is that you’re a true friend.
I’m praying every single day,
Our friendship will not end.
